If city and/or county schools are closed for snow, we will be closed; however, we always open on time if schools open late.
*There is on-going registration for the preschool waiting list. In December and January, enrollment forms will be completed for the 2012-13 school year.\
In order to be added to the First United Methodist Preschool waiting list, the following is required for each child:
1. Complete a Registration Form
2. Submit a nonrefundable $25 fee. This amount will be applied to the
registration fee should the child enroll when an opening becomes available.
Children may be added to the waiting list when they are one year old.
Waiting Lists for the school year are kept by age groups and are used to fill any openings that become available.
Applications for admittance to the preschool are completed in December and January prior to the fall enrollment.

Report Card for Child Care Centers
Tennessee Department of Human Services has a Star-Quality Child Care Program that recognizes child care
agencies who meet quality criteria.
Seven areas are evaluated:
1 . Director Qualifications 2 . Professional Development 3. Compliance History 4. Parent/Family Involvment
5. Ratio and Group Size 6 .Staff Compensation 7. Program Assessment
Four rating levels are given based on achievement results in the seven catagories evaluated .
