First United Methodist Preschool
of our preschool is that all children are a gift from God and are created in His image. Therefore, our response is to provide a Christian environment that encourages social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual development of the whole child. The philosophy of the First United Methodist PreSchool is that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. The staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in children.

First United Methodist Preschool now meets the requirements of a Preferred Provider of Child Care Aware and can receive payments for any military family eligible for the Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood program. Military Child Care In Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) is a reduced fee assistance program for active duty or deployed Service Members that are unable to attain child care on a Military installation.
A Preferred Provider is a child care provider who meets all requirements and standards as defined in the MCCYN program. This means our child care has its state license, national accreditation and has an annual inspection in the past 12 months free of disqualifying incidents.
We are very proud to have received this designation and look forward to partnering with military families to provide child care for them!
