In an effort to involve our entire church, we are asking Sunday School classes/church members to help provide snacks or drinks for our youth for their Disciple Now weekend event to be held August 7-9. This is the youth’s largest event of the year. Traditionally we have over 100 youth and adults in attendance for the weekend. We are looking for individually packaged snacks and 8 oz. drinks. You are welcome to send homemade goodies also (wrapped or bagged for an individual serving). Please drop off snacks, drinks or homemade goodies at the church office by Thursday, August 6th at 9:00 am. Here are some snack and drink suggestions. You are not limited to just the items listed. The kids will usually eat just about anything and they enjoy a variety.
Snacks: Individually packaged only please - Cheese Nips, Goldfish, Pretzels, Chex Mix, Potato Chips (Doritos, Cheetos, Lays, Fritos), cookies (Oreos, Grandma’s Cookies, Moon Pies, Vanilla Wafers), Granola Bars, candy (small “fun” size candy bars, M&M’s, Airheads, Fruit Roll Ups, Skittles, etc.), fruit (apples, bananas, oranges - they love fruit).
Drinks: 8 oz bottles only please - Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi (generic drinks will be fine), and water (they love bottled water).
